Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of https://bloxelizer.com and related products, creator tools, uploads, and other online services we provide (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be legally able to enter into these terms and comply with applicable law.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
  • We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts to protect the Services, other users, or our rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to do any of the following while using the Services:

  • Break the law or infringe intellectual property or other rights.
  • Bypass access restrictions, security features, rate limits, or paid feature gates.
  • Interfere with the platform, other users, or the underlying infrastructure.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or other malicious code, including through schematic files or other user content.
  • Commit fraud or abuse payment systems, including chargebacks for legitimately delivered services.
  • Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools to scrape, harvest, or mass-extract content from the Services in unauthorized ways.
  • Create multiple accounts to evade suspension, abuse free-tier limits, or otherwise circumvent these terms.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users.
  • Generate, upload, publish, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited by our policies.

User Content and Licenses

You retain ownership of content you create, upload, or submit, subject to any rights of third parties. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, display, publish, distribute, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, promote, moderate, and provide the Services and the visibility or sharing settings you choose.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law or third-party rights. We may review, remove, disable, or restrict content at our discretion.

Uploads, Hosting, and Public Content

Some tools may process files locally in your browser. Other features allow you to save, upload, host, publish, or share content through the Services. When you use those hosted features, your files, generated outputs, thumbnails, metadata, and related content may be uploaded to and stored on our systems or our infrastructure providers. Content may be public, unlisted, gated, team-shared, or otherwise accessible depending on the settings and products you use.

Paid Subscriptions and Data Retention

Certain features, such as private schematics, are only available while you maintain an active paid subscription (e.g. Plus). If your subscription expires or is cancelled, access to subscription-gated content will be suspended. Your content will be retained for a grace period of 3 months from the end of your last billing period. Resubscribing during this period will restore full access.

After the 3-month grace period, subscription-gated content that has not been restored may be permanently deleted without further notice. We are not responsible for any loss of content that occurs after the grace period. We recommend exporting or making your content public before your subscription ends if you wish to retain access.

API Credits and the Bloxelizer Platform API

Certain features — including the Cloud Converter and direct calls to the Bloxelizer Platform API — are paid for with API credits. Credits are a prepaid balance purchased in packs through our payment processor (Stripe). They are consumed per job according to the pricing published in-product at the time of submission.

  • Quoted equals charged. The credit cost shown before you submit a job is the amount that will be deducted on submission. Credits are charged at submit time, not on completion.
  • Failed jobs. If a job fails server-side for reasons not attributable to your input, the credits are automatically returned to your balance. Jobs that fail because of invalid input, oversized files, or other user-side issues are not refunded.
  • No expiry, no transfer. Purchased credits do not expire and remain available on your account. Credits are non-transferable between accounts and have no cash value outside the Services.
  • Pricing may change. Per-job credit costs and pack prices may change with reasonable notice. Existing balances retain their face value in credits — repricing applies to subsequent jobs, not to credits already purchased.
  • API keys. You are responsible for safeguarding any API key ("blxz_…") generated on your account. Any credit consumption, content, or activity carried out under your key is attributable to you. Revoke compromised keys immediately from the API access page.
  • Fair use and rate limits. We may apply rate limits and per-account caps (including limits on the number of active API keys) to protect the Services. We may suspend keys or accounts that we reasonably believe are abusing the Platform API.
  • Beta features. Features designated as "beta" (including the Cloud Converter and Platform API during the initial rollout) may change in pricing, limits, or behavior without prior notice. We do not guarantee availability, performance, or specific uptime for beta features. Credits remain valid through any such changes.
  • Termination. If we terminate your account for a breach of these terms or unlawful conduct, any unused credit balance may be forfeited and access to the Platform API may be revoked immediately. Otherwise, see our Refund Policy for the limited circumstances under which refunds may be available.

Consent to Immediate Delivery of Digital Content

By accepting these Terms — including the "I agree to the Terms of Service" acknowledgment shown at checkout — you expressly consent to immediate supply of digital content, and you acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of cancellation in respect of that digital content as soon as supply begins. This applies to:

  • API Credits. Credits are delivered to your account immediately on successful payment. By completing a Credit Pack purchase, you consent to that immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of the 14-day cancellation right for that purchase.
  • Subscriptions. Subscription-gated features become available immediately on successful payment. By completing a Subscription purchase, you consent to immediate performance of the Subscription and acknowledge the loss of the 14-day cancellation right in respect of the current billing period.

Without this consent we cannot deliver Credits or activate Subscriptions. If you do not wish to give this consent, do not complete the purchase. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law — see the Refund Policy for further details.

AI and Generated Output

The Services may include AI-assisted or automated generation features. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or similar to content generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing and determining whether generated outputs are suitable for your intended use.

Third-Party Integrations

Certain features may depend on third-party services, including authentication, analytics, AI, or membership integrations such as Patreon. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, uptime, policies, or decisions of those third parties. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual Property

The Services, including our software, branding, design, and other platform content, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or exploit the Services or our content without authorization.

Copyright and DMCA Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users of the Services to do the same. You may not upload, publish, or distribute content through the Services that you do not have the right to share, including content purchased or obtained from third-party websites or services where the license does not grant you redistribution rights.

If you believe that content hosted on the Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent at bloxelizer@gmail.com. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material on the Services that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
  • Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We will review and respond to valid DMCA notices in accordance with applicable law, which may include removing or disabling access to the reported content. Users who receive a DMCA notice may submit a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error.

We maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or disable features at any time, with or without notice, including for suspected abuse, legal risk, security concerns, or violation of these terms.

If we suspend or terminate your account because of a violation of these terms or unlawful conduct, you are not entitled to a refund of any unused portion of a paid subscription, and any access to subscription-gated features may be revoked immediately.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that the Services will be secure, uninterrupted, accurate, error-free, or that content will not be lost.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the Services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that, where applicable law requires, consumers resident in another country may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date and is effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to use the Services after the updated terms are posted, you agree to be bound by them.
