What is .mcworld?

A .mcworld is a whole Bedrock world packed into one file. Opening it tells Minecraft to add a copy to your world list, and that is the entire install.

How to use a .mcworld export

Export the world

Pick “mcworld” in Bloxelizer and wait for the download to finish.

Open the file

Open the .mcworld file on a device that has Minecraft Bedrock installed.

Wait for it to import

Minecraft copies the world in. Find it in your Worlds list and play.

When to use it

Pick .mcworld when Bedrock players should get a finished world they can just play.

Things to watch out for

Use an up-to-date Bedrock version so it knows all the blocks. Java Edition cannot open .mcworld files, so use the Java world export for Java.
