Convert .glb to Java world

Walk around a textured 3D model in Minecraft Java. Bloxelizer voxelizes your .glb in the browser, samples its embedded textures for block colours, and packages the result as a Java world folder.

The .glb and Java world formats

A .glb packs an entire glTF scene — meshes, transforms, materials, and textures — into a single binary file. A Minecraft Java world is a save folder containing region (.mca) files and a level.dat. The conversion voxelizes the textured mesh into blocks and writes them into a fresh world folder, delivered as a .zip, so the model loads as its own singleplayer save.

How to convert .glb to Java world

01

Upload your .glb file in the converter below.

02

Choose the build size, rotation, palette, and pose in the preview panel, then apply.

03

Keep the Java world format selected, download the .zip, and unzip it into your saves folder.

When to use this conversion

Ideal for large or detailed models you want to explore at full scale in singleplayer, with no structure-block cap and no schematic paste to get right.

Compatibility notes

The build is written into a generated world, so open it in a Minecraft version that supports the blocks your palette chose. Rigged models are baked into one pose before voxelization, and very high build sizes are limited mainly by browser memory.
