The .glb and .mcstructure formats

A .glb packs an entire glTF scene — meshes, transforms, materials, and textures — into one binary file. A .mcstructure is Bedrock Edition's structure format: little-endian NBT with Bedrock block identifiers, a separate liquid layer, and the size a structure block reads when loading. The conversion voxelizes the textured mesh into blocks and maps each one to its closest Bedrock identifier.

How to convert .glb to .mcstructure

01

Upload your .glb file in the converter below.

02

Set the build size, palette, and pose in the preview panel, then apply.

03

Choose .mcstructure as the export format and download the structure.

When to use this conversion

Use this when you are building on Bedrock — a map, a Realm, or a behaviour pack — and want the model placed with /structure load inside a world you already have.

Compatibility notes

Voxelization picks Java-side blocks that are then mapped to Bedrock, so edition-exclusive blocks fall back to the nearest match. Structure blocks cap at 64×64×384, so keep the build size within that or export as .mcworld instead.
