The .litematic and .mcworld formats

A .litematic file is a Litematica schematic — one or more regions of Java block states plus placement metadata — meant to be pasted into an existing world. A .mcworld is a complete Bedrock Edition world: a zipped folder with a LevelDB block database and a level.dat, ready to import and play. The conversion maps each Java block to its closest Bedrock equivalent and writes the build into a fresh Bedrock world so it opens as its own save instead of a schematic you have to place.

How to convert .litematic to .mcworld

01

Upload your .litematic file in the converter below.

02

Review the build and its Bedrock block mapping in the 3D or layer preview.

03

Keep .mcworld selected and download the world, then import the world into Minecraft Bedrock.

When to use this conversion

Use this route when you want to walk around a Litematica build in Bedrock — on a phone, console, or Windows — without a Fabric client or a structure-block import step.

Compatibility notes

Java and Bedrock do not share every block or state, so edition-exclusive blocks use the closest Bedrock match. The world is generated around your build with a flat surrounding area; review the 3D preview before exporting.
