The .schem and .prefab.json formats
A Sponge .schem stores Java block states for WorldEdit and FAWE. A Hytale .prefab.json is Hytale's prefab format: a JSON list of positioned blocks referencing Hytale's own block names. The conversion maps each Minecraft block to its closest Hytale equivalent and writes the build as a prefab you can drop into a Hytale project.
How to convert .schem to .prefab.json
01
Upload your .schem file in the converter below.
02
Check the Hytale block mapping in the 3D or layer preview.
03
Keep .prefab.json selected and download the Hytale prefab.
When to use this conversion
Use this route to move a Minecraft schematic into a Hytale build or map project as a reusable prefab.
Compatibility notes
Minecraft and Hytale have different block sets, so each block maps to the closest Hytale match and some may have no exact equivalent. Review the preview and the missing-block report before using the prefab.
