Convert .gltf to .schem

Turn a glTF scene into a Minecraft build. Bloxelizer parses the .gltf in your browser, voxelizes it at the size you choose, and exports a WorldEdit-compatible .schem.

The .gltf and .schem formats

.gltf is the JSON form of glTF — a scene description of meshes, node transforms, and PBR materials, where buffers and textures are either embedded as data URIs or stored as separate .bin and image files next to it. A Sponge .schem is gzipped NBT holding namespaced Minecraft block states for WorldEdit and FAWE. The conversion voxelizes the mesh onto a block grid and matches each sampled surface colour to the nearest block in your palette.

How to convert .gltf to .schem

01

Upload your .gltf file in the converter below — embedded rather than one referencing external .bin files.

02

Set the build size, rotation, and block palette in the preview panel, then apply.

03

Leave .schem selected as the export format and download the schematic.

When to use this conversion

Use this route when your 3D tool exported JSON glTF rather than a binary .glb, and you want the model as a schematic you can paste with WorldEdit or FAWE.

Compatibility notes

Use a self-contained .gltf — one with its buffers and textures embedded. A .gltf that references external .bin or image files will not resolve them, so re-export it as embedded glTF or as .glb if the model fails to load.
