Convert .obj to .litematic

Build a 3D model block by block in survival. Bloxelizer voxelizes your .obj in the browser and exports a .litematic, so Litematica can render the result as a placement guide and tell you exactly which blocks to gather.

The .obj and .litematic formats

An .obj file describes a mesh as vertices and faces, with materials delegated to a .mtl side file. A .litematic is a Litematica schematic: block-state regions plus the metadata the Fabric mod uses to draw an in-world placement hologram and a material list. Going from one to the other means voxelizing the mesh into blocks first, then writing those blocks into the region-and-palette layout Litematica expects.

How to convert .obj to .litematic

01

Select your .obj file, plus its .mtl and textures if you have them, in the converter below.

02

Choose the build size and block palette in the preview panel, then apply.

03

Pick .litematic as the export format and download the schematic.

When to use this conversion

This is the route to pick when you intend to build the model by hand rather than paste it: Litematica's hologram and material list turn a voxelized model into a followable project.

Compatibility notes

Litematica is a Fabric mod for Java Edition, so the export targets Java blocks. Bring the .mtl and textures if you want the model's colours; otherwise the material list will be dominated by whichever single palette block the geometry resolves to.
